Based in Miami, Florida (USA), Venevision International was founded more than 30 years ago as a participant in the business of distributing television programming, a core business unit of the company today. Our mission is to offer the market’s most complete, up-to-date and diverse product catalog in the industry, complemented by excellence in customer service. The distribution of television programming is the heart of Venevision International, with a constant presence in all markets of the industry, extending its global reach with products airing in 20 languages, 104 countries, and five continents.

In the area of production, Venevision International operates studios in the United States and Latin America, with state-of-the-art post-production facilities that employ culturally diverse production teams with experience in co-producing with the most prestigious international companies in the business. In the past year alone, we delivered more than 1400 hours of our programming to the market. Our production unit, Venevision International Production, has the capacity of offering the most innovative techniques of product integration in our programming, being a pioneer and a leading force in ‘Advertainment’ (the incorporation of advertisements in entertainment) in the Ibero-American market.

A pioneer in the distribution of top-quality films originally produced in Spanish in movie theaters, home video, pay-per-view, cable and free television, Venevision International established in 2001 the first distribution operation of Spanish-language movies in the United States: Venevision International Films. Our catalog, with films originating from Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela among other countries, is distributed in all venues, supported by strong promotional and publicity campaigns. Venevision International Films has established itself as the premier partner of choice for film producers interested in entering and exploiting the U.S. Hispanic market and Puerto Rico.

We participate in the business of Pay TV with SOMOSTV, having launched in 2006 our film channel VeneMovies and in 2009 our children cannel “Semillitas” , targeting toddlers and prescholers from 0 to 5 years of age.

Our record labels, VeneMusic and Siente Music (a Joint Venture with Universal Music Latino), have become major players in the Latin music industry. With the support of major advertising campaigns and strategic alliances with the best multi-national sales forces in the industry (Sony/BMG, Warner and Universal), our product is a constant presence in market indicators, such as BDS and SoundScan.

Venevision International is at the forefront of the digital world with a powerful presence in the new media with its direct entertainment distribution portal “NOVULU” and its two companies Venemobile and LatCel, which offer a wide range of mobile products and services. Venemobile and LatCel provide a new generation of entertainment content, reaching millions of mobile phone subscribers in the Americas.

In addition, Venevision International offers ‘product integration’ in its productions.
